The 6 months internship was part of my second year at CESI for a Master’s Degree in Computer Science.
HexaGroup is an award-winning digital marketing agency that blends strategy, implementation, content creation, interactive and website development while integrating the smartest software.
 
Projects:

HexaGroup Intranet:

Defined of all the requirements for the intranet.
Followed a 3 weeks training by Kentico and passed a Kentico Advanced Developer Certification.
Developed the new company Intranet using Kentico .NET

Mobile Development:

Worked on the development of the Axalta Axs Android app (Java)
Worked on other clients applications with PhoneGap

Web Development:

Developed an ASP.NET, JQuery and Bootstrap website for Schlumberger (here)
Developed multiple websites in PHP, JavaScript and HTML/CSS
Developed a WordPress plugin for online shop orders and deliveries using the Fedex and Google Maps API.
Developed an OnlineVideo Player with JavaScript and Bootsrap for Schlumberger.

All these projects were realized following the Agile Methodology with daily Scrum meetings.

The CESI Engineer specialized in Computer Science is in permanent watch to evolve. He is open to business professions. Equipped with extra-technical skills, he has the capability to integrate, work in platforms and can manage heterogeneity and interoperability. He has an “information system” vision. He develops with quality and production methods, has project management skills and teamwork. Moreover, he is the communicator and the seller of his solutions.

The training ends with a project of end of studies in a company, life size project to lead in all its dimensions: technical, organizational, human and economic.

As part of my University Degree at University of Lyon 1, I realize a 6 months university exchange with the Cegep de Levis-Lauzon. This 6 months exchange is divided between a 3 months university training and a 3 months company internship.

COMPANY INTERNSHIP

The internship took place at La Mauve. La Mauve brings together 400 Quebec producers working in organic farming. The cooperative distributes, processes and showcases the products of its members. The products are accessible in their stores and can be ordered online via its customizable biological baskets.

• Development of a GPS tracking application to follow and optimize deliveries
• Development of web RESTful APIs, a Java app for Android and a C# app for Windows
• Implementation of a Point of Sale solution (Odoo)
• Development of the LaMauve.com website and an intranet with WordPress. Complex website with the possibility to manage and create personalized baskets.
• Management of the company database (MySQL)

The 4 months job was part of my first year at CESI for a Master’s Degree in Computer Science. Today Digial is a digital agency based in Lyon and Paris. They provide sotftware solutions for all kinds of companies. From January to April 2017, I was a full time employee of Today Digital Lyon where I worked on multiple projects.

Development of Ascom France website:

Development of the ascom.com/fr website using Adobe Experience Manager.
Development of custom modules for Adobe Experience Manager using JavaScript.
Creation of email campaigns with Adobe Campaign (A/B Testing, Emailing, Dynamic content, Multilingual content,  Adobe Analytics)
Training of Ascom’s employees from 18 countries in their headquarters in Sweden.

Website Development:

Development of the following website:

• Euronaval (JQuery, CakePHP, Bootstrap)
• Euromaritime (JQuery, CakePHP, Bootstrap)
• Sofins (JQuery, CakePHP)
• Today-Digital (JQuery)

Database reorganization and SQL requests to display complex lists of customers with filters and search bar for Sofins.
Development of a C#.NET RESTful API to request and modify data in the Sofins database.
All these projects were realized following the Agile Methodology.

Development of a WordPress plugin:

Development of a WordPress plugin to show the opening hours for shops.
The customer can enter an opening and closing hour for each day of the week and create exceptions for holidays. According to the current time, the plugin will show a message to indicate if the shop is open or close and when it will reopen.
